John Pfefferle and his wife, Lynn, start the company as Pfefferle Realtors
1971John leads the development of several buildings in downtown Appleton, including: City Center West; the Landmark Building; City Center East; the iconic 222 Building; Appleton Center; Landmark II; and Tri-Park Business Park, a 100-acre development near Fox Valley Technical College
1980'sIn 1988, began offering landscaping services to keep building exteriors in the best shape possible
1988John forms Quality Business Services, the first commercial real estate company north of Milwaukee to offer a full suite of services from sales and leasing to development and property management
1990'sAdded janitorial services in 1998 to ensure that properties stayed clean and well-maintained
1998The property management team evolves to being known as Pfefferle Management which grows from managing 1.8 million square feet to over 13 million square feet today
2000'sBegan offering residential property management services for condominiums, homeowner associations, apartments, duplexes and mixed use facilities
2000Affiliation with Grubb & Ellis, which gives the company national market reach
2002Pfefferle Companies, Inc opens a new office in Green Bay, Wisconsin to expand its reach in the state
2004Added commercial HVAC to our Property Management services, with a team specializing in heating and cooling system repair and replacement, preventive maintenance, building HVAC surveys, and automation
2006A new Wausau office opens in 2007 to help reach commercial and residential customers in Central and Northern Wisconsin
2007To ensure the safety of our building tenants, Pfefferle Management begins offering security services in 2008 to identify and protect against vulnerabilities, and maintain security systems and programs
2008Mike Pfefferle is named as President of Pfefferle Companies
2010Affiliation with Newmark Knight Frank
2012Project Management services are added to assist clients with planning, budgeting and development of building improvements
2017Partnership with NAI Global, the world's largest network of independently-owned commercial real estate firms
2018Sheboygan office opens
2020Pfefferle endures global pandemic and not only keeps every employee on payroll, but has a record year
